The Role

The primary objective of the role is to lead a robust Quality Program and provide technical expertise support to Field Technicians to ensure we achieve a best in class network deployment performance. This entails putting in place sound quality measurements to ensure the services provided are of the highest standard.

This role will be in the PMO department, and it will have a direct bearing on the quality of service we provide our customers. It will need to continuously adapt to ever changing technologies and market environment.

The role will be responsible for managing the Quality Compliance team and to work in conjunction with Operations to achieve set performance & quality KPIs, for both our technical performance and operational performance.

This is both office and field based, working with network technicians and active customers in the field while also managing the technical quality team, making a strong contribution to the formulation and execution of strategy to provide best in class network deployment performance.

Responsibilities

* Leading and developing the technical quality programme for the business, with support from the wider PMO team and Operations teams.
* Management of Quality Team performance, providing direction and focus on required areas.
* Working knowledge of ISO45001 (18001) and ISO 14001, with experience in setting Quality Management procedures and standards aligned with ISO9001.
* Ensure all workflow tools are setup correctly to closely monitor field quality performance and completed works, minimising use of labour-intensive daily data entries.
* Ensure that managers, office staff, field staff and sub-contractors are using workflow tools correctly to ensure analytics run correctly.
* Review works completions to ensure build is to client and Entegro specifications and in conjunction with the project owners, maintain high standard of quality across all build works.
* Lead the investigation of Technical problems and resolve to a successful resolution. Track any deviations found from source to closeout.
* Support Operations to achieve the performance KPIs set by the business.
* Monitor the project requirements meticulously, ensuring all tasks are undertaken in line with the agreed Client and Regulatory standards.
* Identify knowledge or skills gaps and implement supportive corrective actions to meet these needs to help ensure competency levels are attained and maintained.
* Providing internal training and coaching to operational teams in specific subject matters. Including developing and delivery of certified technical training for field technicians, to cover all aspects of field activities under our Quality and Training Program.
* Cost reduction by optimisation of build methodology and operating procedures.

Team Leadership and Management

Technical Quality Management

* Co-creates and implements Technical Quality strategies that facilitate growth and success.
* Sets and delivers the Quality assurance measurements for all field activities.
* Agreeing and leading the implementation of quality metrics methods of measurement with teams (ArcGIS, Survey123, etc.)
* External influences quality impact measurement. i.e. Engineering changes, Infrastructure, Customer Requests, Utilities, Environmental impact changes.
* New technical problem field investigation and resolution.
* Technical performance reporting development and maintenance.
* Identification of under-performing areas or high-failure potential.
* Develop the Entegro Smart Awards training centre to enhance provided courses and trainings.

Compliance and Governance

* Setup and develop handover acceptance criteria of new services, equipment and infrastructure.
* Operating procedures development and documentation.
* Training programmes development and provision to technical staff.
* Certification of internal and 3rd party technical staff.
* Field test equipment selection, testing of features in the field and guidance for purchase.
* Carry out quality system audits and gap analysis completed.
* Lead the bi-weekly and monthly quality meetings across all Entegro projects, ensuring accurate reporting on performance prepared in advance of meetings.
* Lead the Training and Certification compliance, managing through Skillko platform and propose and implement future developments.
* Deliver presentations to Operational Management Teams giving insight into performance, quality management and initiatives relevant to areas within Entegro.
* To provide concise, factual and accurate information through status reports to Head of PMO and SMT, ensuring all information is available to enable effective decisions and improvements to be made.

Educational Requirements

Requirements

* Minimum 5 years experience in a lead technical role within telecommunication industry
* Substantial experience in managing, supervising or providing technical support to a network build operation in a Telco environment.
* Ability to lead, inspire & develop a winning team.
* Track record of defining KPIs with strong focus of delivering the right results and achieving set targets daily, weekly &
* monthly.
* Teamwork orientated individual with ability to add positive team dynamic and openly share best practice.
* Knowledge and experience of operational activities within telecommunication network build and maintenance.
* Telecom and Construction industries experience of working for Principal Contractor ¿ acting as duty holder.
* Practical experience of producing procedures, risk assessments, training plans, quality assurance management programs.
* Fully conversant with all Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong communication skills
