Job Description:
Mastertech Group is a leading provider of HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical contracting services in Ireland. We are currently seeking an Electrical Contracts Manager to join our team based in Tallaght, Dublin 24. This role will provide exposure to a wide range of expertise across M&E sites in Dublin and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
Electrical Contracts Manager Skills:
· Proven experience in electrical contracting, project management, and contract administration.
· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, regulations, and standards.
· Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office suite.
· PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
· Valid driver's license.
As an Electrical Contracts Manager:
· Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the project team.
· Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
· Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.
· Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
· Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Ensure that all contractual obligations are fulfilled in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
· Track project expenses, analyse cost variances, and implement corrective measures, as necessary.
· Manage change orders, claims, and disputes in a fair and transparent manner.
Team Leadership and Development:
· Lead and motivate a team of electrical engineers, technicians, and subcontractors.
· Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and quality.
· Foster a collaborative work environment that encourages innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
· Conduct regular performance reviews and identify opportunities for training and development.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and addressing their needs and concerns.
· Communicate project progress, milestones, and any potential issues in a clear and timely manner.
· Identify opportunities for additional work or project expansion and collaborate with the sales team to secure new contracts.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
· Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
· Conduct inspections and audits to verify compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety requirements.
· Address non-conformities and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
· Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
