The Broadcast Institute is a leading media training and communications organisation, working across Ireland and the UK. We specialise in public speaking, podcasting, presenting, and media interview training for schools, businesses, NGOs, and senior leaders.
About the Owner:
The Institute is led by Paul Connolly, an award-winning investigative journalist, TV and radio presenter, and communications trainer with over 25 years' experience working with organisations such as the BBC, ITV, Netflix and Newstalk.
Role:
We are looking for a freelance Grant & Funding Application Specialist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone with proven experience in researching funding opportunities and writing successful applications.
What you'll do:
• Identify relevant grants, bursaries, and government funding streams (Ireland & UK).
• Research eligibility and prepare tailored applications and proposals.
• Write and submit high-quality funding applications with supporting documentation.
• Track deadlines, compliance requirements, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with our team to shape strong, fundable projects.
What we're looking for:
• Demonstrated success in securing funding through grants or bursaries.
• Excellent research and persuasive writing skills.
• Knowledge of public and private funding bodies in Ireland/UK.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
