Production Planner

Our client, a well-established precision engineering and subcontract machining company, is seeking an experienced Production Planner to support aerospace and high-specification manufacturing operations.
The role will involve planning and coordinating production schedules, monitoring workflow across CNC machining and subcontract processes, and ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities

Create and manage daily and weekly production schedules
*
Prioritise work orders based on customer demand and production capacity
*
Monitor machine loading, labour utilisation, and workflow
*
Coordinate materials, tooling, and subcontract services
*
Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system updates and production forecasts
*
Liaise with production, purchasing, quality, engineering, and customers
*
Support On-Time Delivery (OTD), schedule adherence, and production KPIs
*
Support AS9100 compliance, traceability, and controlled documentation processes
Requirements
*
Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in production planning or scheduling within manufacturing
*
Experience within aerospace, automotive, medical, or precision engineering environments preferred
*
Strong understanding of manufacturing workflows and ERP/MRP systems
*
Good organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
*
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard office software
*
Fluent English essential
*
Candidates must already hold full legal eligibility to work in Ireland – no sponsorship available
