Overview
We are expanding and seeking a bright and personable Real Estate Associate Solicitor to join us in Galway. This is a full-time position, suitable for a solicitor with 1‑5 years PQE gained in a large, medium or boutique corporate law firm.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on and assisting with a variety of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, construction matters, and large scale residential developments.
* Managing and collaborating with colleagues on commercial leasing transactions.
* Providing advice and support to clients on a wide variety of property and construction law issues.
Required Experience
* Strong commercial focus and business acumen.
* Managing competing priorities and deadlines.
* Key focus on ongoing client care.
* Excellent technical and drafting skills.
The Candidate
* Experience acting on sales and acquisitions of commercial property (including complex transactions and portfolio management).
* Landlord and tenant matters (leases, renewals, variations and dispute resolution).
* General property advisory work, delivering pragmatic, commercially focused advice to clients.
Exposure to property financing and construction aspects of property transactions will be an advantage. We value candidates with strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, good work ethic, energy, enthusiasm and high levels of motivation.
