About the Role
Role & Responsibilities:
* Promote an environment that focuses on and manages the individual spiritual, recreational and leisure needs of the residents.
* Plan and arrange a varied activity programme in agreement with the Nurse Manager, including but not limited to arts and crafts, baking, flower arranging, card games, bingo, exercise sessions, hand massage, nail care, sensory room, and attendance at religious services.
* Initiate and assist in the planning and execution of all events such as birthday parties, celebrations and seasonal events, and be present to manage those events.
* Organise and maintain all standard activities on a daily basis, actively helping to promote and create a resident‑focused environment, and implement special activities as requested or of interest to residents.
* Work highly motivated with excellent communication skills to deliver activity programmes to a range of people.
* Collaborate well with team members, volunteers and residents.
