We are seeking dynamic, highly skilled individuals to join the company and help deliver work programmes as part of our Net Zero by 2040 Strategy.We are now recruiting Qualified Electricians to join our:High Voltage Stations Construction and Maintenance TeamsHigh Voltage/ Medium Voltage/ Low Voltage Operations TeamsHigh Voltage, Medium Voltage, and Low Voltage Network Construction (Underground and Overhead)Key ResponsibilitiesWork across all voltage levels: High Voltage (HV), Medium Voltage (MV), and Low Voltage (LV)Construct, maintain, and repair HV and MV substationsOperate HV, MV, and LV systems safely and competentlyPerform work on live equipment in accordance with Live Work ProceduresParticipate in On Call and Standby dutiesCarry out LV and MV metering tasksConstruct and maintain both underground and overhead electricity networksClimb poles and masts as part of overhead line workMaintain up-to-date technical knowledge and skills to perform duties safely and effectivelyAdhere to all safety initiatives, policies, procedures, and agreed guidelinesInterpret job drawings and specifications, requisition materials, and complete tasks efficiently and independentlyDeliver excellent customer service when interacting with customers, the public, and third partiesLead crews or take charge of sites and jobs when requiredWork cooperatively within teams and contribute positively to team developmentEngage with your supervisor or manager regarding your ongoing development and performanceContinuously seek to improve work methods and contribute to operational efficiencyShare knowledge and skills openly with team members and support others in achieving team goalsDemonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to changeExperience And QualificationsEssential CriteriaQQI Advanced Level 6 Electrical Trade Certificate OR equivalent qualifications recognised by SOLAS (e.g., NVQ Level 4 or higher, SVQ Level 3 or higher)Full clean, Category B, Driving LicenceAbility to locate and identify underground cablesComfortable with working from heightsDesirableSafe Pass certificationManual Handling and Basic First Aid trainingRelevant work approvalsExperience with HV, MV, LV system operations, station construction, maintenance and repairExperience working for an electrical utility or in constructing, operating, or maintaining High or Medium Voltage systemsExperience with underground and overhead work related to construction, reinforcement, alteration, replacement, and repair of electricity distribution network assets from LV up to HVMinimum of 2 years post-qualification experienceLocationWe have positions available nationwide.
