Regional Development Officer Role
We are seeking a motivated and organised individual to join our team as a Regional Development Officer.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, structured, and a natural communicator with strong people management and customer service skills. They will support local volunteer fundraising branches across the region with their events, administration, recruitment, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteer branches, providing responsive support.
* Assist branches with administration, social media, and communications.
* Support the planning and delivery of fundraising events, campaigns, and projects.
* Recruit, train, and develop volunteers to strengthen branch activity.
* Research and develop new fundraising opportunities with branches and local stakeholders.
* Ensure best practice is followed and accurate fundraising data is recorded.
* Take ownership of income targets and branch performance within the region.
* Track and report on activity using in-house systems.
Person Specification:
* Proven experience in fundraising, sales, or business development.
* Ability to achieve targets and build lasting community relationships.
* Knowledge of donor/volunteer management systems desirable.
* Strong project planning, organisational, and reporting skills.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Comfortable with cold-calling and engaging new supporters.
* Knowledge of volunteering trends in Ireland is an advantage.
* Experience working with corporate partners desirable.
