PQS Quantity Surveyor (Professional Quantity Surveyor)
Our client, is a Cost Management & Project Management company and chartered quantity surveyors with a head office in Ireland. Due to increased business and success, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor (PQS) to join their office in County Westmeath
To be considered for this position, you will have at least 4- 5 years experience with a firm of PQS as there will be a need to all PRE CONTRACT duties as well as post contract work.
Experience of cost plans as well as contract administration and you will have a stable work record and have previous experience of commercial / Retail or similar projects.
Day to Day Duties:
1. Liaising with clients
2. Cost Planning
3. Cost Control
4. Bill of Quantities production
5. Estimating / tendering
6. Post Contract Quantity Surveying duties
7. Managing a team of surveyors and also working individually depending on the project requirements
8. Meeting and conversing with clients
9. Desired Skills & Experience
Minimum 4 years experience
Proficient in Buildsoft, excel and all MS standard programmes
Able to work in a team and on own initiative
Contract Experience essential
