The Opportunity
As an In-House Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in driving the growth of our solar business by nurturing existing leads, building strong relationships with potential customers, and closing deals.
Key Responsibilities
* Proactively engage with existing leads, ensuring consistent follow-up and communication.
* Assess and qualify potential customers, understanding their energy needs and offering tailored solar solutions.
* Track and manage leads effectively using Salesforce software to ensure no opportunity is missed.
* Present solar products and services to prospective clients, effectively communicating the benefits of solar energy, financial incentives, and installation processes.
* Develop customized solar proposals based on client needs and preferences.
* Drive sales targets by converting leads into confirmed contracts, ensuring a smooth transition to project implementation.
* Work closely with the Survey team & Desktop team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of proposals, designs, and pricing.
* Ensure all relevant information from the sales process is communicated clearly to all departments.
* Provide after-sales support and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships.
* Track and report on sales performance, lead status, and deal closure rates.
* Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and provide regular updates to management on sales pipeline and forecasts.
* Participate in sales meetings and provide feedback on market.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in the renewable energy sector
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
* Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner.
* Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a focus on achieving sales targets.
* Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional departments.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Knowledge of solar technology, renewable energy incentives, and financing options.
* Technical knowledge related to solar energy system designs is a plus.
* Familiarity with Salesforce an advantage but not necessary
