Dublin Sandyford House is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our restaurant featuring European-inspired cuisine.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to play a key role in supporting the Head Chef and leading the kitchen team in delivering high-quality, creative dishes.
Duties Support the Head Chef in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring smooth and efficient operations Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff, including Chef de Parties and Commis Chefs Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency Assist in menu planning, food costing, and stock control Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety standards Take charge in the absence of the Head Chef Requirements Minimum 23 years experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen Strong knowledge of European/Italian cuisine and seasonal produce Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team HACCP certification and sound understanding of food safety regulations Excellent communication and organisational abilities Salary: Competitive, depending on experience Benefits: On-site parking Staff meals Full-time hours Experience: Sous Chef or Senior CDP: 23 years (required) HACCP: 1 year (required)
