Job Title: Person in Charge
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting staff in delivering high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities. This will involve overseeing and implementing each person's Personal Plan through regular reviews, liaising with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support, and ensuring compliance with HIQA regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support staff in delivering high-quality services for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
• Oversee and implement each person's Personal Plan through regular reviews.
• Liaise with families, schools, and day programme staff to ensure continuity of support.
• Support the implementation of HIQA regulations and standards.
• Ensure delivery of appropriate, person-centred care and support for daily living activities.
• Manage key operational areas including safety, risk, finances, transport, and rosters.
Essential Requirements:
• Minimum of a Level 7 degree in Social Care or equivalent.
• Previous experience in the ID sector, preferably in a management/supervisory role.
• In the process of CORU registration.
• Working knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
• Garda Vetting/Police Clearance
