The EHS Manager will be based in our Head Office, however, they will be required to travel 2-3 days per week to the Regional Distribution Centres and Stores.
What You'll Do
* Liaising with internal and external stakeholders on matters relating to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and food safety requirements
* Further developing and update of the EHS Management System
* Supporting Head Office departments and regional management teams to meet their EHS requirements
* Carrying out food safety and health and safety inspections, risk assessments & audits as required
* Working on projects to ensure EHS is considered and included to ensure compliance
* Promoting EHS within all departments to ensure a positive EHS culture within Lidl
What You’ll Need
* Third-level degree or qualification in Food Science/Environmental Health or Occupational Health and Safety
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail
* Full driving license is essential
