Position Overview:
I am seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of a large-scale solar farm project. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring timely delivery within budget, quality, and safety standards. You will serve as the main point of contact between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, manage, and oversee the complete lifecycle of a solar farm construction project from pre-construction through commissioning.
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and local authorities to ensure smooth delivery and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Prepare and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts.
* Manage site logistics, procurement, and allocation of resources including labour, equipment, and materials.
* Monitor construction activities to ensure quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
* Lead regular project meetings, prepare reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
* Identify risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Ensure that the project adheres to the company's standards, values, and sustainability goals.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience managing large infrastructure or renewable energy projects, ideally within the solar or utility sector.
* Strong understanding of civil engineering, electrical infrastructure, and renewable energy systems.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
* Proficient in project management software.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to site as required.
