The post of Assistant Psychologist is a critical role within our organization, responsible for delivering high-quality psychological services to individuals and teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct psychological assessments and interventions with clients, including the use of psychometric tools, self-report measures, rating scales, direct and indirect structured observations, and semi-structured interviews.
* Assist in the formulation and delivery of care plans involving the psychological treatment and/or management of a client's problems, under the supervision of a qualified Psychologist.
* Coordinate, run, and lead therapeutic groups under supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist as required.
* Attend and contribute to appropriate multi-disciplinary meetings.
* Provide clinical work as required by the service at the direct guidance of the clinical lead (or those deputising) and under clinical and professional supervision of a qualified psychologist.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* First or Upper Second Honours degree or other higher degree in psychology or equivalent accredited Conversion Course.
* Eligibility for graduate membership of the British Psychological Society (BPS).
* Experience of working with adults with mental health difficulties for at least 1 year.
