Renewable Energy Project Manager
We are seeking an environmentally conscious professional to support the delivery of planning applications and manage associated environmental and technical assessments for renewable energy projects in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring all planning-related activities are executed efficiently, in line with regulatory frameworks, project timelines, and strategic objectives.
About the Role:
- Support Senior Project Managers and Project Directors in the planning and environmental assessment processes for renewable energy projects.
- Coordinate environmental documentation including EIA and AA Screenings, EIARs, and Natura Impact Statements.
- Manage baseline environmental studies and facilitate collaboration between project team members.
- Monitor and review planning/environmental policy developments, contributing to submissions as needed.
- Assist in the development and delivery of community consultation plans with Communications and Engagement teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal policies.
About You:
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with:
- A Level 8 Honours Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A Postgraduate qualification (Level 9) in a relevant field is desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience in planning applications and environmental assessment processes.
- Strong knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment process and Irish planning legislation.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating environmental documentation.
- Familiarity with Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID) projects and renewable energy infrastructure.
- Technical expertise in a relevant environmental discipline (e.g., ecology, air quality, noise).
