Assistant Operations Manager
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth running of hotel operations and ensuring guests experience the highest quality service and memorable stays and events.
Key Requirements
* 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication skills
* Self‑motivated and positive attitude
* Passionate about hospitality and excellent service delivery
* Hands‑on management style
* Builds and sustains effective relationships with employees and customers
* Motivates, inspires and empowers others to improve performance and achieve goals
* Provides a great work environment through demonstration of company core values
Main Duties
* Assist and lead daily operations across all departments, ensuring smooth guest experiences and efficient service delivery.
* Work closely with the management team to establish new standards, develop systems, and implement best practices.
* Support the development of future offerings while maintaining consistency in current services.
* Oversee staffing, training, and performance management to build a motivated and customer‑focused team.
* Assist in monitoring operational performance, compliance, and financial targets, reporting progress regularly.
* Develop a close working relationship with all departments, colleagues and managers to ensure guest expectations are met.
* Deal with all customer queries and complaints in a timely manner in line with the hotel's standards of operation.
* Work alongside and support the Operations Manager in all departmental projects and initiatives.
* Motivate and create an engaging work environment for all team members.
