Business Development Manager
to support the continued growth of their business across the
Midlands
. The successful candidate will focus on generating new business opportunities, promoting a comprehensive product range, and strengthening relationships with both existing and potential customers.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to apply their technical knowledge and sales expertise within a company recognised for delivering exceptional customer service. The successful applicant will work closely with the regional management and sales teams to identify opportunities, develop new leads, and collaborate effectively with key suppliers to support business growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Promote and sell Plumbing and Heating products to new and existing customers across the Eastern region.
* Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships, ensuring consistent satisfaction and loyalty.
* Identify new business prospects through proactive engagement, including cold calling and follow-up activities.
* Achieve agreed sales targets and deliver consistent results aligned with company goals.
Candidate Requirements
* Demonstrated success in sales within the construction or building materials sector.
* Strong knowledge of Plumbing and Heating products and applications (advantageous).
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Proven ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently, and perform under pressure.
* Capable of working effectively both independently and within a team environment.
* Proficient in IT systems, with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
