RoleBusiness Development Project ManagerSummaryThe Business Development Project Manager will support the CEO in the day-to-day execution and coordination of all business development activities within fast-growing consultancy supporting life sciences industry. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will act as the operational backbone of business development, ensuring that opportunities, proposals, client communications, events, and marketing activities are planned, tracked, and delivered efficiently.The role requires an understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and how consultancy firms support them in today's business environment and a strong ability to manage multiple workstreams, stakeholders, and deadlines is essential. The CEO will retain ownership of senior client relationships and commercial negotiations, with the Business Development Project Manager managing all supporting activity and communication around these processes.What You Will DoBD Project PlanningSupport the CEO in planning and coordinating all business development activitiesMaintain visibility of the BD pipeline, including leads, opportunities, proposals, and follow-upsPrepare timelines, action plans, and priorities for BD initiativesCoordinate internal resources to support proposals and client engagementsSupport with monthly reporting preparation.Support with market and client research.BD Project ManagementManage end-to-end execution of business development projects.Act as the central point of coordination between the CEO, internal consultants, and external stakeholdersTrack progress against milestones, deadlines, and deliverablesEnsure follow-ups and next steps from client meetings and discussions are executed promptlyBD Project DocumentationPrepare and manage proposal documentation, presentations, and supporting materialsCoordinate pricing inputs and documentation under the direction of the CEOMaintain accurate records of client communications, proposals, and outcomesSupport the preparation of reports and updates for internal reviewPreparation of multi stakeholder presentation decks.Other Activities: Event Management & Marketing SupportSupport planning and execution of conferences, industry events, and client meetingsCoordinate logistics for business development travel and client visitsManage and update the company's LinkedIn presence, including content scheduling and basic engagementSupport other marketing activities aligned with business development goalsAbout the CandidateSkills and Experience3–5 years' experience in a project management, business development support, or commercial operations rolePrevious experience working within the life sciences industry is a strong advantage or please demonstrate on your application how your current experience transfers to this role.Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working closely with senior leadership and handling confidential informationConfident coordinating communication around client negotiations.Experience supporting proposals, client communications and sales pipelines is an advantageFamiliarity with LinkedIn and basic digital marketing & social media activities is desirableExperience with SmartSheets is desirable.Advanced PowerPoint SkillsProactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a small, entrepreneurial environmentRenumeration up to €60k depending on experienceBonus, Pension & Healthcare
