So, whether you're interested in joining us as an individual contributor, manager, senior leader - or someone who aspires to growing into a leadership role - we look for people who are results focused, empathetic, visionary, empowering, and who 'champion' our cultures and values.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced Project Manager who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly flexible and innovative environment, with a passion for excellent customer experience.Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:Project planning, monitoring and delivery to agreed project objectives, quality, time, cost and resource baselinesBeing the client facing representative during the project phase, working to optimise the engagement model, build trusted relationships and manage customer expectations with appropriate levels of transparencyManaging project risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies, including timely escalation of risks/issues as requiredManaging effective communications with external partners and internal teamsEnsuring completion of the technical tasks while maintaining a "big picture" viewManaging change control process during the projectDriving the internal project team tasks through to deliveryEngaging with multiple cross-functional & geographically distributed teams to ensure project goals are metUtilising Project Management tools to keep track of resources, deliverables and progressContributing to ongoing development of PMO standards, processes & best practices for Program GovernanceThe PersonYou will have a proven track record in exceptional client-facing project management skills, with the ability to own a project from start to finish. You will have experience in Software and/or Mobile Communications and/or Automotive Projects. With a methodical and logical approach to project management, you will have the ability to communicate successfully and succinctly to internal stakeholders and external clients at all levels. You will work well under pressure, with a proven ability to manage time and budget restrictions. This role will require you to work both as part of a team and alone.RequirementsEssential:Minimum 5 years' experience in a customer-facing Project Management roleAt least 3 years' experience of software and/or telecommunications and/or automotive industryStrong ownership, communication, interpersonal, and cross functional project management skillsExcellent influencing and negotiating skills and experience engaging with stakeholders at team and management levels both internally and with customers/partnersExperience working with remote/geographically distributed teamsExceptional attention to detailExcellent data-driven, systematic and problem-solving abilitiesSound judgment & decision-making skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a pressurised environmentAbility to work well in a team environmentA self-starter, who is curious and comfortable navigating ambiguityExperience with Agile Software Delivery LifecycleFluent English - written and spokenPreferred:Experience in 3rd Party Integration Partner/Vendor ManagementFormal Project Management qualification or equivalent experienceExperience with JIRA Portfolio, Advanced Excel skills, MS PowerPoint and/or other Project Management toolsThird level business, technical or other relevant qualificationBenefits25 days annual leave + 2 company daysHealth InsurancePension ContributionESOPTax saver schemeBike to work schemeSports and social activitiesGreat annual office outings (Summer BBQ, Christmas party, charity runs)Bits & Bobs days (Half day every quarter to get your Bits & Bobs done)Learning and Development OpportunitiesNew hires at Cubic are required to work onsite five days a week during their six-month probation period to get to know the company, their team, and our ways of working.
