The Role
As Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of hard and soft services, including maintenance, security, cleaning, utilities, and waste management.
You will ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs, complies with statutory regulations, and reflects best practice in health, safety, and sustainability.
This is a hands-on role combining operational oversight with direct staff supervision. You will line-manage a team of 10 staff while also managing external contractors and liaising with senior stakeholders.
* Oversee delivery of soft and hard facilities services: cleaning, maintenance, security, waste, and utilities
* Monitor utility usage and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiencies
* Coordinate fire safety systems, alarm testing, emergency drills, and related training
* Manage permit access, risk assessments, and overall site compliance
* Liaise with landlords and managing agents regarding building issues in leased premises
* Maintain accurate records, databases, and maintenance logs
* Lead and support staff, ensure performance standards are met, and encourage a positive team culture
* Support audits, procurement processes, and budget management
* Champion sustainability across energy, waste, and water use
* Deliver excellent customer service and administrative support to internal teams
