A well-backed and fast-growing renewable energy and infrastructure group is seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join its expanding finance team.
The business operates large-scale assets across Ireland and the UK and is currently in a significant growth phase, with major projects under construction and a strong future development pipeline.
Backed by private equity investment and institutional debt funding, this is an excellent opportunity to join a commercially sophisticated organisation at a pivotal stage of its growth.
Due to expansion over the past 12 months, the Group is adding a Senior Commercial Financial Accountant to its finance function.
Reporting directly to the CFO, the role will take ownership of financial reporting for a defined portfolio of group entities, while also leading the annual audit and budgeting processes at Group level.
Responsibilities: Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process across the Group.
Maintain and update cashflow models to support working capital and funding requirements.
Manage AP, AR, intercompany and related transactions.
Own month-end and year-end close processes, from journals through to management accounts and variance analysis.
Maintain ledger integrity, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany balances.
Manage funding drawdowns and cash extraction processes as required.
Experience: Qualified accountant with circa 5 years' post-qualification experience.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
High integrity, proactive approach, and collaborative mindset.
