OverviewQuality Coordinator - Days OR Nights Lir Chocolates, Navan, County Meath, Ireland
In this role, you will assist the organisation in formulating quality standards and regulations, monitor the quality management system, ensure compliance with the latest quality controls, and help maintain company-wide standards.
Position type: Temporary, part-time.
Hours: 34.5
Shift Pattern: Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 06:00 - 18:00 (Days) OR 18:00 - 06:00 (Nights)
Pay range:€16.00 /hour.
Breaks:30 minutes paid, 30 minutes unpaid
Training to be Monday - Friday for the first 2 weeks.
ResponsibilitiesEnsure food safety, quality, and audit standards across production.Conduct line checks, GMP audits, and taste panels.Support investigations and implement corrective actions.Calibrate equipment and verify allergen controls.Maintain records, monitor shelf life, and oversee hygiene compliance.Perform internal audits and post-clean inspections.Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues.QualificationsTechnical and Industry Knowledge Relevant experience in a similar industry – Food/FMCG
Food Safety Level 2 (Essential)
HACCP Level 2 (Essential)
Allergen awareness
Pest awareness
Good GMP Audit Practice knowledge
Previous experience with internal audits
Good numerical skills and understanding of gap analysis
