Ecological Project Lead Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Ecologist to lead our environmental projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and coordinating Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and statutory consent applications.
The successful candidate will deliver technical reports, lead project teams, and develop environmental mitigation proposals. A strong understanding of the Irish consent and licensing frameworks is required, as well as excellent planning, project management, and leadership skills.
About the Role:
* Possess a relevant third-level degree and at least 6 years' post-qualification experience in an ecology role within planning or environmental consultancy.
* Be a member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).
* Have experience in EIA, NIS, EcIA, and AA.
* Develop leadership, coordination, and contribution to EIA projects for major infrastructure projects.
* Show technical expertise in areas such as aquatic ecology, terrestrial ecology, ornithology, consent management, and compliance.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and relationship management skills.

* Technical reports on environmental impact assessments.

* Environmental mitigation proposals development.
