SENIOR ORACLE FINANCIALS FUNCTIONAL ANALYST
My client, is a global innovation powerhouse in the security and access solutions industry, headquartered in Europe with a financial SSC based in Galway City. Reporting to the Head of IT Acquisitions, you will be responsible for integrating their acquisitions to Oracle EBS from a PTP, O2C and R2R perspective. Secondly, you will assist their overseas teams with helpdesk related tasks to the integration projects. In a medium to long term timeframe, you will support the integration of Fusion Financials across the group, as part of a yet to be formed project team. This a permanent job, based in Galway City, 3-days in the office. This will suit someone with prior Oracle-only ERP implementation experience. Both qualified accountants and oracle business analysts will be considered.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Act as the key functional expert for Oracle Financials, supporting modules such as GL, AP, AR, FA, and CM.
2. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial processes and provide efficient Oracle ERP solutions.
3. Lead and participate in global Oracle Financials projects, enhancements, and rollouts.
4. Translate business needs into functional specifications and technical requirements.
5. Configure Oracle Financials applications according to business needs.
6. Provide post-implementation support and continuous system optimization.
7. Train end-users and create comprehensive documentation.
8. Work closely with cross-functional teams including finance, procurement, and IT.
9. Ensure solutions are compliant with global finance standards and internal policies.
REQUIREMENTS
10. Proven experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Analyst with strong knowledge of core financial modules.
11. Expertise in Oracle EBS R12 or Oracle Cloud ERP.
12. Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes and best practices.
13. Ability to lead or contribute to full-cycle ERP implementations or upgrades.
14. Skilled in gathering requirements, solution design, testing, and support.
15. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
16. Analytical thinker with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
17. Bachelor's degree in finance, IT, or related field.
18. Oracle certification is a plus.
