Calling all Assistant Accountants for a great opportunity with a leading multinational based in Swords North You will work as part of a large finance team reporting to the Financial Controller.
You will assume responsibilities for the month end close and financial information enabling the financial strategy process.
This role will suit a well rounded and motivated Assistant Accountant or Part Qualified Accountant.
Initial 20 month Contract with potential for extension/ permanency Nice to know: Hybrid: 3 days in office, 9-5 5% Bonus, 5% pension, healthcare, more Great place to work awards Large personable team Parking with easy access for public transport routes Key Responsibilities: Processing of month end close, including profit and loss and balance sheet Ensuring month end processing is within deadlines, whilst ensuring accuracy Ensuring all financial reporting is in line with company policies Producing variance analysis and reports, monitoring financial performance Producing monthly budgets and yearly comparisons, analysing trends, effectively enabling the financial decision-making process for the senior leadership team Preparation of monthly financial forecasts and budgets Ensuring all accountancy standards and maintained and complied with Supporting the internal and external audit process Assisting accounts payable with any related queries Forging strong working relationships with internal finance teams, other departments, and stakeholders, ensuring effective collaborating Power BI reports preparation.

Adopt and deliver the Finance strategy Finance Adhoc projects and process improvement Person Specification & Qualification: Accounting Technician or equivalent experience Minimum of 2 -4 years' experience in a busy accounting function and month end close experience Strong systems skills inclusive of ERPs and excel Experience with power BI and SAP is advantageous Strong commercial acumen Attention to detail, deadline focused, analytical mindset Strong communication skills Skills: assistant accountant accounts assistant bookkeeper accounting technician AITI Benefits: Work From Home Bonus pension VHI parking
