Senior Web Apps Developer.
This is a
12 month
day rate contractor
position located with our client in
Dublin 2. This is a hybrid role requiring at least 2 days onsite per week.
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Web Applications Developer
to join a dynamic team within a major public sector organisation. This role involves working on complex digital solutions and contributing to the architecture, development, and maintenance of web applications that support critical business functions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, support, and maintain systems across Production, Development, and UAT environments.
* Contribute to solution architecture for business and technical requirements.
* Participate in system testing and issue resolution.
* Provide subject matter expertise on technologies such as
Power Platform, PowerApps, and Power BI
.
* Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to deliver high-quality solutions.
* Engage in all phases of the software lifecycle, including design, development, and deployment.
* Recommend operational improvements and maintain up-to-date documentation.
* Deliver weekly progress reports and provide training/knowledge transfer to staff.
Mandatory Requirements
* Minimum
7 years' experience
as a web applications developer.
* Proven experience developing
complex digital cloud solutions
within the last year.
* Relevant qualifications:
* Recognised application development certification,
or
* Primary degree in Technology/IT discipline,
or
* NFQ Level 7 equivalent.
* Fluent in English (CEFR Level C2 certification required if not a native speaker).
Desired Skills & Competencies
* Experience working in an
agile team
using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
* Expertise in developing complex web applications using
Power Platform, Power Pages, Power BI
(Dynamics experience desirable).
* Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior management.
