This role is responsible for assisting with stock management, team leadership, operational planning, and ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently maintained.Working closely with the Head of Beverage, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering efficient and high-quality beverage operations in a fast-paced event environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional looking to develop their career within a dynamic organisation that offers strong progression and development opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesStock & Inventory ManagementComplete event-day and monthly stock takes, maintaining accurate inventory recordsPlace stock orders in line with operational and event requirementsReceive, check, and record all stock deliveries, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are metSupport effective stock control procedures to minimise waste and maximise efficiencyEvent & Race Day OperationsCoordinate and deliver full bar set-ups for race days and eventsSupport the smooth running of bar operations during busy service periodsEnsure all bars are fully prepared, stocked, and operationally compliant before openingMaintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience throughout eventsSupervise and support beverage team members during shifts and eventsAssist with onboarding and training of new team membersProvide ongoing coaching and guidance to maintain service excellence and operational standardsFoster a positive and professional team cultureStaffing & CoordinationWork closely with the Head of Beverage to coordinate staffing requirements for eventsAssist with rota planning and ensure adequate team coverage across operationsSupport effective communication between departments to ensure seamless event deliveryCompliance & StandardsEnsure compliance with all company policies, licensing regulations, and health & safety proceduresPromote and maintain responsible alcohol service at all timesUphold operational standards and ensure all teams follow best practice proceduresKey RequirementsPrevious experience in a supervisory role within bar, beverage, or hospitality operationsStrong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProven ability to lead, motivate, and develop teamsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFlexible approach to working hours, including weekends and event daysFull Irish driving licence and access to own vehicle required (travel expenses provided)Compass Group UK&I is committed to fostering an environment where every individual can truly be themselves at work and has equal opportunities to advance in their careers.
