Ennis Iron Works Ltd, a family-run business with 40 years of experience in structural and architectural steelwork is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Technician. The role requires producing accurate technical drawings for steel structures.
1. Create detailed 2D AutoCAD drawings for steel structures, staircases, balconies, gates, railings, and glass systems.
2. Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to convert them into fabrication-ready details.
3. Collaborate with management, workshop, and installation teams for practical and accurate drawings.
4. Maintain drawing registers and project documentation.
5. Provide technical support to the workshop and site teams during project planning.
Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), experience in structural/architectural steel detailing (preferred), ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are required.
