Job Overview
* The Data Governance Manager will lead the design, implementation, and oversight of our enterprise-wide data strategy. This pivotal role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership, including defining long-term data priorities and standards.
* In the initial phase, the focus will be on establishing foundational processes, aligning and cleaning historical datasets, and preparing for a major ERP implementation.
* Over time, the role will evolve to shape enterprise-wide data governance, optimize cross-functional data usage, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
* This position reports directly to the Head of Corporate Development, a member of the Executive Committee, and will collaborate closely with teams across Finance, Commercial, Operations, Quality, R&D, HR, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
* Developing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks, policies, and standards;
* Defining data ownership models and accountability structures;
* Leading massive data-cleaning efforts;
* Ensuring mapping and interoperability across diverse systems and functions;
* Building and executing a data acquisition and generation strategy, including evaluation of external data sources;
* Establishing processes for collection, validation, storage, and integration across diverse data types;
* Driving cross-business adoption and accountability without direct reporting lines.
Requirements
* 5–10 years' experience in data governance, data management, or related roles;
* Proven track record of delivering large-scale data governance programs or ERP-related data initiatives;
* Strong influencing skills to drive change across senior stakeholders without formal authority;
* Rigorous project management and discipline to ensure delivery in complex environments.
