Clinical Facilitator Role
Job Overview:
As a skilled clinical facilitator, you will play a pivotal role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while providing exceptional services in an environment that prioritizes quality, respect, and compassion.
About This Position:
* Provide clinical leadership, education, and support to healthcare professionals involved in cancer care delivery
* Maintain high standards of evidence-based practice across cancer services, facilitating ongoing professional development, orientation, and competency assessments
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
1. Lead the facilitation of orientation, training, and ongoing education of healthcare staff in cancer services
2. Support the implementation of evidence-based clinical practices across oncology services
3. Serve as a resource person for complex patient care issues in the cancer setting
4. Coordinate clinical placements for student nurses and new staff members
Important Relationships:
* Interdisciplinary team members within Cancer Services
* Clinical facilitators and educators across the hospital
Essential Qualifications:
* NMBI Registered General Nurse license
* Minimum of five years recent relevant post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
Required Skills:
* Oncology facilitation and education expertise
