Job Description
We are seeking a skilled HR Advisor to join our team. As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for site and office roles.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Handling employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance matters
* SUPPORTING training and development initiatives, such as apprenticeships and graduate schemes
* Coordinating performance reviews and identifying skills development opportunities
* Maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring GDPR compliance
* Advising managers and staff on HR policies and employment legislation
* Contributing to policy development and delivering HR training to line managers
* Monitoring labour market trends to support workforce planning and retention
* Promoting employee engagement and supporting company-wide initiatives
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role
* Experience in recruitment and selection at all levels, employee relations issues, and training and development activities
* A sound knowledge of current employment legislation and HR best practice
* A professional and organized approach to work
* Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
* Full awareness of the need for integrity and confidentiality in HR activities
* A good problem-solver with the ability to identify issues and resolve them in a timely manner
* A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to work with changing demands and priorities
* Strong IT skills, including experience of HR systems
* Commitment to undertaking travel as required to fulfill the responsibilities of the role
