Job Title: Environmental Client Account Manager

Location: On-site Bandon, Co. Cork/Travel as necessary (IRL & UK)

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent


Job Description

We are currently seeking an Environmental Client Account Manager to join our expanding team and help deliver exceptional service to our customers. The successful candidate will display meticulous attention to detail, exemplary organisational skills, outstanding interpersonal skills, and previous experience in the wastewater treatment industry or a related field.


Key Responsibilities:

* Build relationships with customers through on-site visits to discuss and analyse their needs.
* Write technical proposals for clients advising on suitable Acorn Water products and services.
* Develop process optimisation surveys for clients with Acorn Water's recommendations based on their treatment plant needs.
* Prepare quotes for Acorn Water products and services to meet customer requirements.
* Manage and solicit quotes from suppliers on behalf of Acorn Water.
* Maintain stock levels across Acorn Water's product lines to ensure availability for clients.
* Proactively manage existing client relationships and develop new business opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.
* Stay up-to-date with all Acorn Water's new products and technologies.
* Administer the Salesforce customer database and complete reports as directed.
* Promote Acorn Water at industry events and trade shows, networking with potential clients as required.
* Create PO requests for customers in accordance with Acorn Water team processes.
* Process administration outputs resulting from weekly sales meetings.
* Manage Acorn Water's import/export processes according to company procedures.
* Write tender documentation for clients.
* Arrange travel and accommodation for team members attending conferences and events.


Requirements:

* Hold a 3rd level qualification in Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Microbiology.
* Have 2+ years of experience in the industry.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication skills, able to effectively communicate technical information to various audiences.
* possess superb technical writing skills with exceptional attention to detail.
* Have strong knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies and regulations.
* Be able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Hold a full clean driving license with access to own car.
* possess high level computer literacy/IT skills.
* Knowledge of Salesforce database systems would be advantageous.
* Exhibit proven organisational and time management skills.
* Show excellent multitasking abilities, capable of managing and planning projects and tasks according to organisational requirements.


Schedule:

* Monday to Friday
