Our client, one of Irelands leading energy companies, is currently recruiting a Finance Assistant to join their team on a fixed-term contract for 9 to 12 months to provide maternity cover.
You will play a vital role in supporting the finance department and assisting with key accounting processes, while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities Manage key accounting processes and reconcile control accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Maintain and update the Creditors ledger, including booking invoices and allocating payments.
Build strong relationships with suppliers and colleagues to resolve queries and issues promptly.
Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including balance sheet and profit and loss reconciliation, as well as audit preparation.
Perform daily data imports and address any issues that arise during the process.
Requirements 3 years of experience in a similar finance role, demonstrating strong organisational and analytical skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, Partly qualified ACCA/CIMA, or IATI Experience using JD Edwards software is advantageous Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
