Pioneer Fire & Security is a leading professional fire & security company in Ireland, specialising in the installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarms; CCTV; Access Control and Fire Alarm Systems, protecting a large commercial client base on a nationwide basis. We are currently recruiting a Service/Maintenance Scheduler to support and assist our ongoing expansion. This is a full-time position on a permanent basis.
Purpose of the role:
To co-ordinate the service process from initial contact with our client to scheduling the calls for our team of engineers. This role is heavily interactive and involves daily communication with both our internal team and our clients'.
The key focus of this role will be to ensure we keep our commitments to our clients by executing planned schedules on a daily basis to achieve optimal output from the department.
Responsibilities:
* Scheduling preventative maintenance calls for an assigned team of engineers
* Interacting and scheduling engineers to site
* Managing engineers' day to day assignments
* Ensuring all calls are expedited in a timely manner and the daily schedule is completed at the end of each day
* Following up directly with engineers were deviations to planned days are identified and taking corrective action
* Reallocating tasks in cases of cancelled or rescheduled visits for clients
* Completing the relevant support documents at the end of each day
* Placing orders with suppliers where required
* Quoting clients for small day works if required
* Updating our database with the relevant details
* Running daily/weekly and monthly reports
* Any other duties as assigned by the Service Supervisor
Person Specification:
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Good geographical knowledge of Ireland
* Ability to plan, prioritise and work to strict deadlines
* Highly motivated with the ability to work as part of a team and independently
* Accurate data inputting skills
* Excellent PC skills including proficiency in Word and Excel
* Responsible and conscientious
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* 2 years experience within a service centre environment
* Adaptable to the needs of our business
