You will support the identification, development, and implementation of improvement initiatives, working closely with Operations, Engineering, and site stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesEnergy & CarbonSupport the development and implementation of the site's energy efficiency and carbon reduction roadmapIdentify and assess energy-saving and renewable technologies for site applicationContribute to the delivery of energy optimisation projects and action plansMonitor and analyse energy performance for Significant Energy Users (SEUs)Support energy measurement and verification activitiesProvide input into operational decisions to maintain energy and carbon performanceUtilities & WaterSupport delivery of the site water intensity reduction roadmapTrack water usage and utilities performance across key processesAssist in identifying and delivering water conservation projectsMonitor and support optimisation of steam, compressed air, and water systemsSupport boiler efficiency monitoring and steam optimisation initiativesAssist with optimisation activities for operations of the Wastewater Treatment PlantKey DeliverablesMeasurable improvements in energy, water, and utilities performanceTimely delivery of assigned optimisation projectsAccurate performance data for internal and external reportingContribution to ISO 50001 certification maintenanceWeekly and monthly performance updates to site stakeholdersSupport sustainability, regulatory, and corporate reporting (CSRD, EU ETS, EPA)What We're Looking ForEssentialDegree in Engineering (Process, Mechanical, Energy, or similar)3–4 years' experience in a manufacturing or production environmentExposure to energy, utilities, or process optimisationStrong analytical and data handling skillsFamiliarity with energy or utilities monitoring systemsGood working knowledge of ISO 50001 and ISO 14001Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyDesirableExperience with steam systems or utilities optimisationExposure to sustainability or decarbonisation projectsExperience supporting audits or regulatory reportingWhat we offerWe understand our people are our special ingredient and at different points, employees require different supports at different stages of their working lives.
