CareChoice is inviting applications for the new role of Allied Health Professions (AHP) Lead, a senior professional leadership position responsible for shaping and governing AHP practice across all CareChoice services.
This role will lead the development of AHP governance structures, support service expansion, and ensure the highest standards of clinical and professional practice across the Group.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced AHP professional to influence strategic direction, drive best practice, and enhance the contribution of AHPs to person-centred care within a growing and innovative organisation.
The AHP Lead will:
* Establish and oversee AHP governance frameworks across CareChoice.
* Provide senior professional leadership to AHPs, promoting excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
* Ensure compliance with HIQA, CORU, and relevant national standards.
* Support workforce planning, advanced practice development, and recruitment/retention strategies.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary governance, quality assurance, safeguarding, and clinical decision-making.
* Lead AHP involvement in new models of care.
* Represent CareChoice at relevant professional forums and engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
This is a national role and will require travel across CareChoice sites.
Applicants must:
* Hold a recognised qualification in an Allied Health Profession.
* Be registered with CORU or the relevant regulatory body.
* Hold a Master's degree in management, leadership, or a related area.
* Have a minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience, including 5 years at managerial level.
* Have demonstrated experience in professional leadership, clinical governance, service improvement, and strategic planning.
