Description
As a key member of the corporate treasury team, the Treasury Manager will play a crucial role in managing and optimising the company's global treasury operations. Joining a team of finance professionals in our Dublin office, the position reports directly to the Vice President, Assistant Treasurer, Allied World Finance Group based in Bermuda. The Treasury Manager will oversee the day-to-day activities of the treasury platform and support other treasury functions.
Responsibilities Include:
1. Manage the global SAP Treasury platform, ensuring its efficient operation and performance.
2. Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, test, and implement the new SAP Treasury platform, ensuring seamless integration.
3. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to meet business requirements.
4. Update documentation, including system guides and troubleshooting procedures.
5. Provide training and support to end-users for a smooth transition.
6. Oversee treasury system upgrades and stay current with SAP Treasury technology advancements.
7. Analyse and optimise treasury operations, identifying process improvements and cost savings.
8. Prepare reports on treasury performance, highlighting trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
9. Develop relationships with banks, investment managers, and stakeholders.
10. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Assist with weekly cash reports and cash flow projections.
2. Maintain bank accounts and relationships.
3. Assist with cash flows and security moves as directed.
4. Provide system administration support for banking platforms.
5. Prepare reports for global accounts and signatories.
6. Respond to audit information requests.
7. Review processes for efficiency improvements.
8. Support other treasury duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
* At least 8 years of experience in a treasury department within a global (re)insurance carrier.
* Experience with SAP systems and implementations is a significant advantage.
* Technologically adept, eager to learn new platforms, and adaptable to technological changes.
* Good understanding of banking and investment industries.
* Strong organisational, analytical, and attention to detail skills.
* Goal-oriented, able to work independently.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Strong work ethic, able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
* Ability to prioritise effectively.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
