Supply Chain Manager – Dublin based FMCG manufacturing - Permanent position.
This Supply Chain Manager position is with a large manufacturing operation based in Dublin, working on a Monday to Friday basis, onsite, and managing a team of 3 direct reports.
This role is very important position for the overall deliver of the site, and this company hold very high standards for their product quality and their customer delivery. This role focuses on three main areas: Inbound product, production planning and warehousing.
The role:
* To drive the full end to end supply chain and planning from inbound materials and ingredients to finished product.
* To drive an efficient production planning process so that production targets are met, and the materials onsite are used efficiently.
* To develop any supply chain processes onsite that will increase operational efficiencies.
* To grow and develop the team that reports into this role to strengthen the overall capabilities of the supply chain function.
* To work with the other divisions within the business for the overall integrations of Supply Chain initiatives and to improve operational efficiencies.
* To drive the warehouse function to optimise the stock and raw materials onsite.
* To always drive a strong culture of Quality and Safety.
Requirements:
* 3rd level education in a relevant discipline.
* Experience in a senior Supply Chain capacity is essential.
* Previous people management experience is essential.
* Strong administration abilities are essential.
* Good communicator with good attention to detail.
