The Business Development Events Manager will play a key role in driving growth, enhancing brand visibility, and curating memorable guest experiences through strategic business partnerships, corporate relationships, and innovative events.
You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that maximise occupancy, conference, wedding and event revenue while ensuring that every event - from weddings and wellness retreats to corporate gatherings - reflects our ethos of genuine hospitality and excellence.
You will be based here in the hotel and will be part of our team of 130 employees.

Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a day-to-day strategic sales and marketing plan to grow corporate, wedding and events revenue while seeing through all the necessary details to implement the business Identify and nurture relationships with local, regional, and national partners, including tour operators, corporate clients, and potential wedding couples.
Represent the hotel and spa at trade shows, networking events, and tourism partnerships.
Monitor market trends and guest feedback to inform business decisions.
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of all in-house and external events, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Work closely with the operations, F B, spa, and marketing teams to deliver seamless execution.
Manage event budgets, timelines, and post-event evaluations.
Develop creative, experiential event concepts that reflect the spirit of Brandon House Hotel Strengthen the brand's presence across digital, social, and traditional channels.
Select number of Duty Manager shifts will need to be carried out as part of the role Qualifications Experience Minimum 3 years' experience in sales environment in the hospitality, events, and / or business development roles.
Proven track record of achieving sales or event targets.
Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organisational skills.
A creative mindset with strong commercial awareness.
Hospitality experience is an advantage Personal Attributes Passionate about hospitality, community, and guest experience.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
