Overview
Digital Partner Business Manager role onsite with primary work from an HPE partner/customer office. This position supports a brand-new Digital Sales Hub in Dublin and is focused on selling with, to, and through Partners to drive revenue, profitability, and pipeline for HPE.
Responsibilities
* Serve as a trusted advisor to Partners (e.g., VARs, Distributors, SIs, ISVs, MSPs) and develop mutually beneficial plans aligned with HPE priorities.
* Drive end-to-end HPE revenue, profitability, and pipeline by creating joint business plans and leading data-driven sales with Partners.
* Articulate HPE global and local strategies to effectively sell with, to, and through Partners, creating a scalable selling ecosystem.
* Develop knowledge of partner priorities, IT trends, investment strategies, and HPE technologies to differentiate HPE from competitors.
* Coordinate and execute HPE activities with Partners, leveraging HPE specialists as needed (sales cadence, education, marketing, executive briefings, forecasting, planning, client engagements).
* Lead HPE strategy, programs, and systems with Partners to ensure accelerated financial outcomes and build loyalty.
* Tailor selling solutions to fit partner customer profiles, including HPE products, services, and technology alliances to meet quotas.
* May recruit and develop new partner relationships and monitor Partner sales floors to help develop pipeline.
* Ensure partners are aware of and compliant with HPE SBC requirements and applicable legal obligations.
Education and Experience
* University or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
* Typically 4-8+ years of selling experience.
* Solid experience in selling to partners is desired.
Knowledge and Skills
* Technology acumen: awareness of current technology trends and ability to articulate them to Partners.
* Sales acumen: influence Partners to create value for HPE; plan and propose solutions; build strong customer relationships; act with urgency.
* Account management: strategic planning with Partners aligned to customer and HPE strategies.
* Portfolio knowledge: understanding of HPE products and how they deliver value relative to competitors.
* Partner industry acumen: understanding of Partner industries, trends, and competition.
* Partnering acumen: develop relationships across Partner and internal teams to align sales efforts.
* Financial acumen: understand financials to assess health, identify risks, and position value propositions.
* Sales forecasting and communication: forward-looking planning and clear communication.
* Time management, creativity, entrepreneurship: prioritize and drive innovative sales approaches.
