Location: Cork (Hybrid: 2-3 days onsite)

Salary: €75,000 - €90,000 depending on experience (see breakdown below)
About the Role
A major Irish retail & wholesale organisation is seeking a Full Stack .NET Developer to join its in-house technology team. This role involves building and enhancing enterprise systems that support large-scale retail operations nationwide. You will work closely with product owners, architects, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
This is a hands-on development role within a modern Microsoft-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET / C#
2. Build modern front-end experiences using Angular (v10+)
3. Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure
4. Contribute to architectural and design discussions
5. Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards are upheld
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment
7. Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipeline improvements, and DevOps initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
8. 3+ years professional experience with .NET / C#
9. Strong experience with Angular
10. Solid knowledge of Azure services (Functions, App Services, Azure SQL,
11. Comfortable working with REST APIs, microservices, and cloud-based architectures
12. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
13. Strong problem-solving, communication, and team-collaboration skills
Nice-to-Have Skills
14. Experience with Azure DevOps
15. Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
16. Exposure to retail, FMCG, logistics, or supply-chain systems
17. SQL Server and NoSQL databases
