This opportunity will suit an experienced claims professional looking to join an established team environment, managing motor damage claims through the full claims lifecycle.This role offers the chance to work in a technically focused claims environment where you will take ownership of claims, engage with key stakeholders, and support efficient claim resolution from initial notification through to final settlement.Your RoleTake ownership of a portfolio of motor damage claims from initial registration through to conclusion.Review claim details and assess appropriate repair, settlement, or damage resolution options.Work closely with repairers, engineers, policyholders, and third parties to progress claims efficiently.Ensure claims are handled in accordance with internal procedures, policy conditions, and regulatory requirements.Maintain accurate documentation and provide timely communication to all relevant stakeholders.Support the delivery of strong customer outcomes through efficient and professional claims handling.Contribute to team performance and wider operational objectives where required.Your SkillsPrevious experience managing motor or damage claims within a general insurance environment.Good technical understanding of damage claims processes and claim resolution.Experience dealing with external suppliers, repair networks, or engineering contacts.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Organised approach with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.Positive, team-focused attitude with a proactive approach to claims handling.
