About the Opportunity
A respected general contractor is seeking a skilled Project Engineer II to support large-scale multi-family residential construction projects. You'll be involved in the full project lifecyclefrom bid to closeoutmanaging documentation, coordinating subs, and ensuring project information flows efficiently across teams.
This is a great opportunity for someone experienced in managing the details behind the build, especially with strong Procore skills and a deep understanding of multi-family construction environments.
What Youll Do
* Manage and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, proposals, and POs
* Use Procore and internal systems to maintain up-to-date logs and documentation
* Support Project Managers and Superintendents by keeping field and office coordination aligned
* Assist with bidding, subcontractor scope development, and bid set prep
* Participate in and document project meetings, updates, and milestone tracking
* Coordinate materials and lead times to maintain project flow
* Collect and prepare closeout materials: as-builts, O&M manuals, final change orders
* Help manage project compliance with contracts, code, and client expectations
What You Bring
* 3+ years of Project Engineer experience, specifically in multi-family construction
* Proficient in Procore (required)
* Familiarity with tracking systems, submittals, RFIs, and construction documentation
* Detail-oriented and proactive with excellent follow-up skills
* Degree in construction management or related field
* Based in or relocating to the Columbus, OH area
