This is a key, customer-facing role combiningaccount management, trade counter support and proactive sales activity, ideal for someone who enjoys building long-term customer relationships while still driving commercial growth.You will manage a portfolio of approximately250 active accounts, spending around70% of your time developing and servicing existing customers, with the remaining30% focused on identifying new business opportunities, reactivating dormant accounts and increasing share of wallet.This is aMonday-Friday rolewith no weekend working, offering strong earning potential, stability and long-term progression.The RoleManage and develop a portfolio of circa 250 customer accountsHandle inbound and outbound sales enquiries via phone, email and trade counterProvide product advice, quotations, order processing and aftersales supportProactively grow existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling and pricing strategiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities, including lapsed and new customersWork closely with external sales and branch management to maximise branch performanceBuild strong relationships with electricians, contractors and commercial customersMaintain accurate records and pipeline activity on internal systemsThe CompanyOur client is awell-established electrical wholesalerwith a strong reputation for service, stock availability and technical knowledge.
