Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. Supporting clients in the delivery of actuarial consulting services
2. Assisting senior colleagues to build and maintain client relationships by giving support with requests for proposals and the development of sales materials
3. Communicating effectively with project teams to ensure that projects are on time and meet internal and clients' expectations
4. Supporting intellectual capital development and new business generation
Qualifications required:
5. Qualified life actuary with 3-4 years' post-qualified experience in a consulting role
Experience required:
6. Strong stakeholder and project lead experience balanced with technical understanding of actuarial and finance
7. A deep understanding of IFRS 17 is essential, with experience in implementation, setting methodology, BAU readiness and reporting required
8. Proven experience and knowledge of Capital/Solvency II, financial modelling and risk management techniques and reinsurance
9. Proven ability to lead medium sized projects (around 5+ colleagues)
