We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality play-based education that fosters the growth of self-esteem within all children.
Job Purpose
To act as a positive role model and be responsible for delivering and implementing a high-quality play-based curriculum under the guidance of national quality frameworks.
You will guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment as part of the childcare team.
* Promote and adhere to the services ethos and mission
* Follow policies and procedure of the service at all times
* Conduct observation and learning stories for all children
* Organise materials and resources to ensure they reflect the children's emerging interests and abilities
* Implement a play-based curriculum that encourages independence and fosters the growth of self-esteem within all children
* Support children's emotional, social and cognitive development
Person Specification
We are looking for someone with a strong commitment to high-quality early education, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a professional and enthusiastic disposition.
A minimum of FETAC Level 5 in Early Years Education is required, along with a strong understanding and experience in Early Childhood Education and working with parents/carers.
Garda Vetting will be required as part of the recruitment process on an ongoing basis.
