Job Title: Process Engineering Manager
Job Description:
The process engineering manager plays a crucial role in translating customer needs into effective solutions that meet their requirements. They are responsible for leading internal and external design teams, as well as project managers, to influence and optimize design concepts into solutions that can be built safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities:
* Understand and document customer process needs, drafting high-level design concepts for sharing with customers.
* Work with design teams to establish reliable and efficient designs that meet customer needs.
* Collaborate with project managers and tendering departments to cost proposed solutions.
* Support business development teams in preparing quotations and tender documents.
* Provide assistance with SAT and FAT of solutions.
* In conjunction with the manufacturing team, develop documentation supporting assembly, commissioning, and operation of modular solutions, including technical files for CE Mark self-certification.
* Work with the General Manager to define standard product offerings meeting the needs of the water and wastewater treatment market.
* Support the design team and project manager, collaborating with all parties in the project team to ensure successful delivery of robust technical solutions.
Requirements:
* A minimum of L8 degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
* Managerial experience of process or design teams is advantageous.
* Commercial awareness, ensuring product proposals are both cost-effective and profitable.
* Extensive technical knowledge of process design, construction, and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment plants (modular experience advantageous).
* A minimum of 10 years of experience in the water/wastewater industry.
* Excellent written and oral communication.
* Ability to travel to customer locations, primarily in Ireland and UK.
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of applications, including MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Project.
Benefits:
€75,000 - €95,000 per annum, dependent on relevant experience.
