Responsibilities
The Front of House Team are the heartbeat of the hotel – they are one of the first to welcome guests, the 'go‑to' team for all resort information, and respond to guest queries throughout the stay. An Assistant Front Office Manager must be an intuitive person with a naturally warm and engaging personality, inspirational leadership skills, and a strong drive to always 'go beyond' to ensure the guest experience is flawless. From a professional perspective, the candidate must already have FO/GS management experience, have excellent organisational skills, be a strong communicator and talented relationship builder with proven ability in managing highly demanding Front Office departments in comparable 5‑star/luxury hotels. Fluent English in both oral and written communication, coupled with excellent computer skills, are essential – previous experience using Hotsoft is desirable. A full clean driver's licence is required.
Reporting to the Front of House Manager, this person must be a strong coach and nurture an environment that supports delivering incredible Irish hospitality. Our goal is to offer personalised care that goes beyond normal expectations. Experience in a 5‑star/luxury property is desirable.
Qualifications
• FO/GS management experience in a luxury, 5‑star environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage demanding Front Office departments
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written
• Computer proficiency, experience with Hotsoft a plus
• Full clean driver's licence
