Wood is looking for several graduate engineers for our busy Galway Engineering office. Our dedicated engineering teams offer a wide range of consultancy services to an international client base.
The Role
This role involves offering engineering support and consultancy services to a global clientele in the energy sector. The selected candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to the planning and execution of energy projects across international markets. Additionally, the role requires preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings, providing technical support for proposal development and tender package preparation, and assisting in managing, analyzing, and monitoring production data.

Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include:
* Providing engineering support and consultancy to a global energy sector client base
* Working within multidisciplinary teams on international energy projects
* Supporting design and analysis activities for structures and equipment in marine and subsea environments
* Preparing technical reports, specifications, and drawings
* Supporting proposal and tender preparations
* Managing and analyzing monitored production data
* Managing engineering databases with current technologies
* Staying updated on emerging technologies and assisting in their adoption

Expected qualifications include:
* Relevant degree in a technical field
* Strong interpersonal, presentation, and problem-solving skills

* Fundamental understanding of physics and mathematics in engineering
* Familiarity with engineering analysis and modeling software, such as FEA tools, is beneficial
